I liked reading this book. The story of Carlynn and Lisbeth is really good even though it's kind of a secondary story to the main one. The main character is Joelle, who is pregnant. Liam is the father, but he is also her best friend's husband. Unfortunately, this friend is in a nursing home and has no idea who she is, or who anyone else is. The story is emotional and brings up a lot of moral issues. This was a fairly easy read and kept me turning pages.
It was good, typical DC, I enjoyed it, but it wasn't my favorite of hers.... I admit, the twist was a surprise, but not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of the story.

I almost stopped reading this book after the first couple of chapters as all the foreshadowing and figured I knew what the Diane twist was going to be. But I kept going and was pleasantly surprised by a good easy read.
This is another interesting and easy-to-read story with characters I liked. I know parts of this author's books are predictable and/or sappy at times, but I still enjoy them.
I enjoined this book, for the most part. Although it was long and had more than one story line going on at a time. This easily could have been two separate books, and I'd probably have enjoyed it better that way.
I was surprised by the twist in the end. But there were so many characters and they had more than one name that it was hard to keep track of at times.
