I wanted to love this book but I found it super repetitive and the timeline was difficult to follow. Was it a quick and interesting story? Sure, but I found myself looking forward to just being done with it.

Really 'enjoyed' this book - very, very interesting.

The Bigamist is a true story account of a woman’s ultimate betrayal by who she thought was her husband. It’s definitely easy to read this book and think how can she have believed him. The first half of the book I was definitely thinking, really...how is she still believing him and putting up with him disappearing for months and months on end, with little to no contact or explanation, some of the webs he was spinning did seem a little far fetched and unconvincing, but, like anything you don’t know how you’d react if it were you in her shoes.

I did find myself gripped as I wanted to know the scale of Wills lies and the full depth of his deceit.

I appreciate Mary’s bravely for sharing her story and do hope that it helps other people in similar situations. I had to give it 3 stars because the story isn’t as reader friendly as it could have been, you can tell that it isn’t written by an experienced author, but that doesn’t take away my admiration for Mary, her healing and getting her life back on track.
