This book deserves 4 stars....it's incredibly deep and thought-provoking. The 3 here are a result of my own asthetic and storyline preferences. Amazing premise.

Inesperado porque esperaba encontrar otro tipo de historia y lo que encontré fue la historia de personajes comunes en sus días aparentemente cotidianos pero en los que sus decisiones tiene un peso relevante.

Me gusto que este libro tiene varios temas que da para conversar y reflexionar y me gusto descubrir que las historias de Philip K. Dick no son historias de acción.

I was excited to dive into this classic, and there were several aspects I genuinely enjoyed. The creative speculative history and the book-within-a-book structure were particularly compelling. I was especially intrigued by how Philip K. Dick imagined two culturally distinct nations co-managing a country as vast as the United States. However, I found myself bogged down by the fragmented storylines, the heavy-handed themes around art, and the frequent use of the I Ching. These elements, while interesting in concept, ultimately became distracting and pulled me out of the narrative.
