This was a fun, holiday-themed rom-com, but other than that, it’s not anything special. I didn’t dislike it, but it definitely wasn’t on the same tier as a lot of other books I’ve read and enjoyed.

It was cute but the romance was written for a teenager. The Christmas part was cute

In terms of this being a YA romance, I think this was done very well. That being said, I don’t typically enjoy reading YA. The book is quite short, the plot is fairly simple, and it is a cute take on the typical Christmas theme. I feel like it’s fairly original, I’ve never read—or watched—anything like it. The idea of “Santa’s intern” is adorable and very creative. Overall, this is a cute PG romance that’s perfect for all ages.

I grabbed this one from the library because the cover was so cute! I wasn't expecting a teen book so I had to adjust my expectations for this a bit as I read. It ended up being a cute story about a teen who works in a Christmas store and is dealing with a first kiss fiasco she's trying to remedy and normal school/teen problems (class assignments, saving up for a car, boys teasing her, etc). Frankie happens to also have a giant dose of Christmas thrown in, however, because her family owns a Christmas store and Santa School. Frankie tries to help preserve the magic of Christmas for others in a lot of heart warming ways (including answering letters as Santa's intern in a ridiculous outfit). Some of the logic leaps didn't make a ton of sense to me but maybe I am just too far from being a teenager. A pleasant read with a fun light romance thrown in.

This book was cute.  It was a short cute read in between long books.

Not a teen romance but a journey of self discovery

Not every plot thread is satisfactorily resolved, but this was a very very festive fun short little read.

This was so fun & wholesome! I appreciated the fact that the romance didn't completely override the story and that it was more so focused on the family & their business & tackling their issues.

DNF at 25%. It’s sweet and cute but I just can’t finish.
