Very realistic illustrations.
There's an almost peaceful quality to it despite that the story is a little too sad overall.
I did have a little difficulty working out the timeframe and who was who in which timeframe but otherwise enjoyed it.

This graphic novel was beautifully illustrated, but unfortunately, I didn't think the plot was particularly striking. It's a quiet, gentle, melancholy read but takes too long to develop and in the end, I feel like we didn't get enough time with the characters and their romance to actually feel connected to it.
