I dunno I felt really overwhelmed by the art, like I couldn't focus on a lot of the action scenes because they felt unreadable, and the story was sort of boring. I'm interested in Vash and Rem... but that's about it.

Trigun was one of my favorite mangas as a kid, so coming back to it after all these years was quite a treat. I'm not convinced, however, that it has stood the test of time as a lot of scenes and passages feel very cliche. Nevertheless, this first volume resonates and its underlying theme, one that has the reader question the moral disposition of human nature, is quite powerful for a work aimed at young adults.
