Very light on the romance. The characters are bland and don’t speak like teenagers at all. The school roommates drama, the love letters, and the grade ranking issues take up most of the time in the book. The characters have no swoony moments together and they get together at the very end

I enjoyed The Borrow a Boyfriend Club when I read it last year, so I was looking forward to reading this too. Unsurprisingly, I also enjoyed this! It's sweet, and light, and the romantic build-up is solid.

Charlie started to irritate me a bit the longer I was reading, but the rest of the STRIP group very much made up for it.

I had high hopes for this book and I did end up enjoying it. Just almost expected more than I got.

It was fun overall. And a quick read. Only took a few days.
