Audiobook is narrated by Kaveh's VA!!! (Although don't expect it to be Alhaitham x Kaveh)

This YA book is so charming. It has an almost Marauders quality to it, with a posh all-boys school and a group of nerdy friends.

Reading about Charlie's time at school was delightful and wholesome. I loved all of the weird friends he made. From a gym bro, to a guy obsessed with horses, and a wickedly smart 12 year old.

Jasper is also such a charismatic guy. He was so fun to read, and is the perfect artsy lead. He is so musical theatre coded. I only wish there had been way more tension between Charlie and Jasper. They definitely felt friendly but I wish there had been more subtle yearning.

Overall, a fun read featuring a great group of friends.

“Oh my god they were roommates”

In all seriousness this was fun. Binged it in like a day. Vague OHSHC vibes which I fw. I wish there was almost more tension? Like shit was solved a bit too easily at times. But hey I love a good fun read I have no direct complaints over here.
