Just as good the second time around. The dialogue and characters are so real and juicy. The plot still makes me gasp. For contemporary fiction readers, literary fiction, edgy and funny.

3.5 for me. I didn't love it as much as her debut effort. But it was somewhat enchanting to read a novel set in a dorm -- brought back lots of memories. It also gave me anxiety about my baby going to college next year because damn, navigating the social world at college can be so hard.
This doesn't get 4 or stars because the climactic scene wasn't that believable, and the reactions of the characters were disappointing.
