DID NOT FINISH

This book personally jumped the shark for me when SPOILER ALERT, a dog was killed by accident, essentially ruining a college student's life. This didn't fit with the character's development, and along with the other story lines that were running concurrently, I shrugged and closed the book. No reason to finish it, it all seemed so disconnected.

For me this book was super relatable. I mean no way me and one of the main characters look alike, are the same age, had similar jobs, similar aspirations, the same car, the same issues with sexual identity and minor drug exploitation, struggles with being too kind, and all that was just a coincidence? Ha! I think Reid did a great job of weaving the narratives together and making characters interesting but also showcasing their flaws. She also did a spectacular job of depicting a college experience that everyone could relate to in some fashion. I definitely recommended it to all of my friends before I even finished it.

The plot of the book was very unclear. Kennedy's chapters were the only ones that were interesting.
