Enjoyed it, but I feel as though it wasn't super focused. Good for what I needed it for, vacation read!

Lots of backstory on lots of different characters, but not enough on the ones I wanted (like Robin, Ryland, or Collette).

Not sure there was enough character development for some of the characters who we spent lots of time on.

I really enjoyed the scenes with Millie and her friends. I enjoyed the banter, it felt very realistic.

These girls are messy. I love and hate all of them? Mainly picked this up bc I went to UofA, so the local shout-out were fun. I don't think it was the most accurate representation of the area, but it was fun all the same. A solid read, tho prob will donate my copy. Reads like a slice of life where the people generally suck? Also wasn't the biggest fan of the dialogue, felt inhuman at times.

def one of the only character study & slice of life books ive enjoyed. it enthralled me probably bc of relevance to my just-finished college experience. i rly do love archetypes, filled to the brims with details but still in a box, and seeing how they can be bent and stretched. typically i real strong plot books, but this one rly held me down through the entire first half where basically nothing has happened in the present time, and its all flashbacks/vignettes and contextualization. the ending made sense but i guess it wasnt as dramatic as i would of wanted but thats a personal preference

DID NOT FINISH: 47%

I got about half way through this audiobook but had no desire to finish it. There's so many characters and they all blend together. Many of them are boring or judgemental. It wasn't the book for me.
