Her dialogue is always so impeccably real.
I was sceptical heading into Come and Get It. I wasn’t sure if it would be for me. However, I was hooked from the start. Something about the characters drew me in instantly. There wasn’t much of a plot until half way through but I didn’t feel bored or disinterested. I was too captivated by the personalities and backgrounds of these main characters. Kennedy I thought was a super interesting character, and she had a perspective I haven’t seen a lot of in books. Millie and Agatha were also super strong personalities that held through the book. Very impressed.
Oh, my sweet baby Kennedy...it's been a while since I've been in college, but these characters and their neuroses hit me big time.

Sooo fun and also sad?? She’s so good at like, savage observations that are also empathetic. Literally my only issue is that Kennedy’s backstory is delivered all in a big chunk, which is a little clunky. I loved the characters and wanted to stay in the world forever. <3
