writing is better than the deal. a few off-putting offensive lines. deals with harsher topics in a more mature manner tho so i’m giving elle kennedy that.

Book 2 in the Off Campus Series by Elle Kennedy & once again this one if full of Elle’s trademark sense of humour and vivid characterization it was the perfect second instalment.

John Logan is the hot, handsome, and popular college jock who is pining for his best friend's girl. Since she's off limits, he turns his amorous attentions elsewhere. Introducing Grace Ivers. Grace is a freshman and a virgin. When Logan and Grace accidentally meet, they are both pleasantly surprised by how effortless and enjoyable it is to spend time in each other’s company, their flickering attraction gaining momentum quickly and irresistibly, and while one kiss is all it takes for it to ignite, one confession is all it takes to destroy their budding relationship. As quickly as it started, it all ends in an instant, leaving them both heartbroken and full of regrets.

This book is full of layers to the story that all fit together nicely to deliver an engaging and addictive reading experience. With opposites attracting, of two people being exactly what the other needs, in good times and in bad, and never giving up on each other. The hilarious banter, the heart-warming romance, the skin-tingling sex scenes, the colourful array of secondary characters—this book excelled in every aspect, keeping me enthralled for hours, and it again left me craving for more from the irresistible Briar boys and their kickass leading ladies.

I have mixed feelings about this book. There is little to no plot, and there were some cringy parts of the book that didn’t seem well thought out, for example, a fight. The main characters have towards the end of the book seems selfish and unnecessary.

This book just seems like an extra book to add to the series.
