i honestly really enjoyed this book, despite the 3 stars! it was a very fun read for me as it was my first mystery thriller type and i was enraptured in the lives of the nine victims. they were all very normal people you could easily meet in your own real life which i liked a lot.

that said, the very final chapter where they reveal jessica survived was disappointing!! don't get me wrong, i liked her as a character. i just felt as though jack's confession letter was a very good way to leave it off. not every ending has to be a happy one, y'know? and finally having the whole picture within the letter and the sign off felt like the right place to leave it. a bit sad about the cliché of a sole survivor but overall an enjoyable read for sure.

Just as you are beginning to get to know a character, they are murdered. In such an abrupt and quick way that nine murders are actually pretty boring. And finding out the reason in the end of why was also boring and pointless.

The killers motive is kinda weak but the story was a quick and enjoyable read
I was starting to enjoy this book until the plot started to unravel. The plot to me was wild. I didn’t understand why the character was hunting these people down. The choice of language in this book was crazy. This was my first book by this author and I’m glad it was a library pick. I didn’t wast my money but I did waste 3 hours of my time. This feels like a poor example of a thriller.
