Disappointing. Peter Swanson has written some of my favorite thrillers but this was a big mess of way too many characters.

Really quick read that keeps you entertained- wasn’t a big fan of the ending though

I do love a murder mystery, short chapters, and multiple POVs, but it just wasn't working for me in this one.
I found that the short chapters and jumping POVs made the reading feel choppy and confusing. You don't get enough from each character to really get to know or connect with any of them. Plus, I figured out the twist a bit too early for my liking.
It's not bad, but I had higher hopes or expectations, I guess.

Note - I read as an audiobook which was often confusing due to the amount of characters.
