'Goodnight Mister Tom' was a book I read in school and didn't really appreciate. This time round, I smiled, I cried, I didn't want it to end. For a short book Magorian was able to capture emotions and character relationships better than a lot of longer books I have read!

 "Takes yer time, everythin' 'as its own time."
