Having read her two previous books I was looking forward to this one but "Worst Case Scenario" is just plain bad.
It's one improbable scenario after the other with each more unbelievable than the last.
I couldn't force myself to read the last sixty pages.

4.5⭐️ This was just as thrilling and fast-paced as her first 2 books, but also crushingly sad! It felt like reading a disaster movie script. I was hooked from start to finish. It could be a little cheesy in some parts, but I had such a good time reading it, it so I did not mind too much.

I don't usually like disaster books and movies but I make an exception for T.J. Always on the edge of my seat for a thrill ride. Keep em coming!

Holy smokes (no pun intended) was this a magnificently fast paced novel. The details were so visceral. I literally could not stop turning the pages. This book broke my heart but I could not stop reading. I finished this in less than 24 hours.

Really enjoyed this, read it really quick. It's fast-paced and manages the large cast of characters well. I liked the overall message. The thing I disliked was that I felt like it kind of sold out Joss in the end, saying that she wished that she had had kids and turning her into like a pretty face for the president. I recognized that some romantic chemistry was coming there, and I was fine with that, just the way it ended up being handled felt gross. In both cases, it felt like she was this smart, bad-ass, strong woman, who ended up being reduced to the things women are always reduced to: pretty and needing kids. Also didn't love the oversimplification of Matt's dad at the end, ignoring the fact that their relationship had actually been pretty rough.
Other than the last chapter or so though, a great read.

I originally got this book to listen to during my marathon to try to keep my mind off the pain of running. When I started it on my last practice run, I didn't find it quite suspenseful enough for that purpose, but I didn't find get through it pretty quickly.
Characters were shallow, but the scenario was quite compelling by itself. It did also cause nightmares about radiation poisoning for me lol

Another thrill ride from TJ! I can say with confidence that this reached the deal - I’ll read anything this author cranks out.
