My fave of the bridgerton books so far! Love how the kids play into the story. And all the letters, especially the last one. Best declarations too.

I finished this so fast, cause it was so good. Eloise is such a relatable and real character and Phillip just pulls you in. It felt natural and fun and you could feel them grow and become better people. I really don’t know how these get better but they do

I have mixed emotions about this because I love the was the twins took to Eloise and how they became a whole family- no divisions with step-mother etc. But Sir Philip sometimes struck me as just a plain old arsehole and kinda ruined the vibes. I understand that depression or ‘melancholia’ effects those around the people as well but at parts it seems like it is entirely blaming Marina.
