Fun rhythmic rhyming. Cute characters. Kids will be wondering why Moose isn't listening, and seeing him for the bossy leader he's trying to be without doing any work. As the animals come together at the end, they will see why listening, teamwork, and creative problem solving are important.

This is a situation that readers of all ages will find familiar, I think. Great illustrations and rhymes that flow nicely throughout and encourage you to keep turning pages.

Definitely one I need to add to my classroom library! I can use this one to teach working in a group, what happens when you rush, teamwork, etc. Great story with some fun rhymes!

Ahh.  This book is adorable.  It’s about a forest of friends helping to build a home.  But Moose wants to be in charge, and his talking and not helping gets him in trouble.  He should be happy he has such good friends to help out.
