This book is such an enjoyable read! There are so many twists and turns throughout the book that constantly left me guessing, and I was never bored. I'm not giving it the full 5 stars because it does become a little confusing towards the end and opens the possibility for plot holes, and there are still a lot of questions I didn't feel were answered and should have been. Regardless, I would recommend this book to any mystery lover who enjoys a bit of thrill and isn't afraid of dark topics. This is my kind of book.

Listened to the audiobook so maybe I would have liked it better if I read it, but I found much of the middle portion fairly slow/dull. However I didn’t predict the twists at the end which redeemed it somewhat. Overall it was just okay imo.

Sometimes I Lie started off rather slow for me as I was expecting a fast-paced thriller that kept me glued. The writing style wasn't my favourite either but the pace started to ramp up after almost reaching 50-60% of the novel.

Though, the unexpected twists caught me off guard which I was surprised about. I have a mixed feeling about the change of timelines within the book, it helps me dive into greater detail about our main character's childhood and the events leading to her being in a coma, which continued to pique my interest. At the same time, it can be rather confusing to jump into different timelines so quickly.

However, I really enjoyed the audiobook version and it made the reading experience immersive and tensed. The inital plot had a lot of potential but it kinda fell flat for me.

Insaaaaaaaane!!! Sharp objects kind of twists, kept me on my toes the whole time, and the narration was stellar.

There was alot of time period shifts and character confusion. I need more processing time for this one. Not my favorite by this author.
