You are worthy of love, you are worthy to feel joy right now, even in the darkness.

This was such a cute read, an academic rivals to lovers scenario set against a World War II inspired backdrop with elements of fantasy and magic.
The story although written beautifully, definitely focuses on the relationship between the two main characters more than the fantasy aspect, and I did find it begin to become a little bit overbearing at times.
