Much like Return of the King, I wondered how many times the story would end. Overall, well done though, and my child borrowed a book on Greek mythology from the school library for fun afterwards, so that's a win in my book!

I enjoyed this series for the most part, but was mainly reading for the nostalgia from when i was younger. Some things definitely didn’t sit right with me at the same time though. I really didn’t like that Luke admitted to liking Annabeth at the end, even though when he met her she was 6 or 7 and he was around 14. That part made me uncomfortable. The plot was interesting, and I’ll always love greek mythology retellings, but parts of this book definitely could have been better written.
