The majority of this sequel was exciting and wonderfully heart-wrenching. However, I was fairly disappointed and frustrated during several chapters and not in a way that felt intentional. The ending didn’t feel right but maybe I just became uninterested. If you liked Garden of the Cursed, I still recommend Masquerade of the Heart so you know how the story ends. Maybe you’ll feel differently than I do!
