This collection speaks to the wide range of Christie's talent. The Poirot and Miss Marple mysteries were similar to her usual stuff with those characters and enjoyable as always. The big surprises were the doll and seance stories...and they were odd, really odd. However, I did appreciate the diversity.

I enjoyed the mix of Marple and Poirot, alongside a few featuring neither but tinged with the supernatural. A solid Christie story collection where her writing really shines.

Not a lot of suspects in this one which made it not quite as good but still okay for a short read

A mixed bag of Poirot and Marple stories.

While not all Poirot stories (which I expected considering this book is listed in Goodreads as part of the Poirot series), it was quite good. There were a few stories that were less mystery and more Twilight Zone-esque, which were both surprising and very good. (The dressmaker doll one, especially!)

Not one of my favourite collections from Christie, but still worth the read if you aren't familiar with some of the stories.

"The Last Séance" was as messed up as I remember.

2022-08: Dressmaker’s Doll: 3.5 stars.

A dressmaker is constantly on the go and under pressure to complete commissions. A mannequin appears in her shop, with no one knowing who brought it. The mannequin keeps moving around mysteriously…..

Creepy.

Short stories that include HP and Miss Marple read by David Suchet, Joan Hickson, and more. Had a couple of creepy stories also.

Really enjoyed the HP and Miss Marple. Good for a car ride because could stop at the end of a short story.
