I am obsessed with this series so let's just say this is one of my four favorites! Frank is a gentle junkyard giant if there ever was one. I was so happy that Ezra filled that something in his heart he needed along with the spicy situation they had. Ezra was what I would expect from a guy who needed to sell himself to get ahead. Yes, he come across at first as emotionally closed off and a gold digger, but underneath it all he is a good guy, and he falls for his protector Frank. Delicious age gap with size difference and an even sweeter romance then I had expected!

“I’m like my junkyard. Rough around the edges, but full of surprises and hidden gems.”
The big man finally gets his happily ever after..
Ezra & Frank had me confused at first but then it all clicked together.
This was a very unexpected book for how this series has been going up until this point but I am so glad that finally Frank gets to be happy.
I never thought it would turn out the way it did as I was reading, I really thought it was going a different way but the way it goes left me undecided on how I felt about Ezra.
Frank has been through so much but when he finally takes something for himself it is taken away and he lets it go except it comes back but with extra baggage he never expected to come to his door.
Ezra has always wanted more. More money, more status, just more of a better cushy lifestyle. His plans for that shatter right in front of him when he sees something he shouldn't and runs to the only person who he feels safe with.
Ran from one killer to another killer, unknowingly.
While I liked this book, I got annoyed with Ezra and his attitude at times. A princess in Burberry in a junkyard. It came down to his upbringing in the end before we actually get to see more of Ezra and the person underneath his mask to appreciate him.
Frank was the same but different in this book for some reason. Maybe because the focus was on him more than anyone else and we finally got to peel back the layers to the man who takes care of everyone else and finally get to know him better and the why of things.
The spice is there but in a softer way I'd say, a more caressing way. It was a nice change from Dex, a palate cleanser if you will haha.
This one had the added age gap aspect to it along with the size difference which made it so good.
The way these two care about each other is shown in different ways but still it's there and it makes it all that much more meaningful to each other.
Added bonus is we get to see everyone else from the other books, it's a nice catch up!
The triggers are there, not as heavy but still there.
Jump in and get to know Frank & Ezra but also catch up with everyone else in this junkyard family.

While I did enjoy going back to this series I do think this book was too long.
I really like Frank and honestly I could take or leave Ezra because I'm not a fan of vanity. I did like them together and they complemented each other well, but I did find myself skipping their sex scenes after the first few because they were never ending!
Jag is always enjoyable to read about and it was good to see where the other couples are at in their relationships too.

Loved it! This series just keeps getting better and better every time. Frank was the sweetest cinnamon roll; I couldn’t get enough of him. I can understand why even someone like Ezra would live in a junkyard for him. I couldn’t put this down and enjoyed every page. Books like this one is why this author is my all time favourite. I am so excited the series will continue.

Frank and Ezra's story was hot and steamy, but what made me lose my heart completely was how sweet their relationship could be at times. Despite his stacked bod, tattoos, and solitary job, Frank was all heart, and he genuinely wanted to find a deeper connection with someone. I didn't realize how much sincerity was hiding behind his gruffness, but seeing how awestruck and enamoured he was with Ezra during their first night made me feel all warm and gooey inside. Because of Ezra's escorting and desire for a luxurious life, Frank wrote himself off entirely, assuming someone as dazzling as Ezra would never want to be with him. And for a year, that was their status quo--a string of nights together that felt more and more boyfriend-y as time went on but never bridged the gap from paid client to anything more. But even during those steamy nights, I could see how hard Frank was falling for Ezra, and though Ezra was much more reserved in his thoughts I could see that he felt a similar compatibility. I don't think Ezra ever had any plans of acting on it, but when he got mixed up with something dangerous it was Frank he chose to run to for safety. Those weeks at the junkyard really developed their relationship, as Frank and Ezra had to learn how to live together, work together, and define the sparks between them. They definitely had their ups and downs, but Frank's genuine nature kept coaxing both him and Ezra to open up more and more until almost all their secrets were laid bare to each other. I loved seeing Ezra let go of his guards and stop being the image-centric, uber-perfect version of himself as he grew more comfortable with Frank and his friends, and it was so cute to see him get all excited about the junkyard treasures he could salvage. Frank ended up being such a thoughtful, caring partner who really listened to Ezra but never lost that desperate hunger to devour him every day, all day. I knew the two of them would eventually have to decide if they were serious about each other, but when Frank's shadier dealings got exposed to Ezra in the worst way imaginable, I was devastated. With their honeymoon period over, Ezra and Frank had to be honest with each other about what they wanted going forward, and I appreciate that they took some time to heal and process before going all-in. Their happy ending felt like such a relief after how hard they fought for it and how they almost lost it more than once, and I was thrilled to see them living their happiest lives together in the epilogue.

This book is about Ezra and Frank, who are polar opposites in a lot of ways. Ezra is beautiful, pampered, sunny and delicate with a lot of body-image issues while Frank is big, strong, grumpy and dangerous with a secret heart of gold.

“I love you, Frank,” Ezra whispered straight into his ear.
“I love you too. I love you so much. You’re my treasure.”
They meet in an escort/client situation and Frank is pretty much smitten from the beginning. Ezra isn’t sold on him for a long time though, because he already has other plans for his future; namely, snagging himself a rich husband after earning as much money as an escort as he can. Meanwhile, Frank literally lives at a junkyard, so he is not exactly what Ezra pictured for himself.
Frank chuckled, closing his eyes, but when Ezra’s breath steadied after a while, he opened them again to take in the treasure in his arms. Ezra didn’t know it yet, but after tonight, all bets were off. Frank would fight to keep him.
However, when Ezra is threatened by one of his former clients after witnessing something he shouldn’t, he decides to seek refugee with the one man he feels can protect him and keep him safe: Frank.
And Frank is all too willing to take care of Ezra in any way the beautiful man will let him. In the meantime, Frank just hopes Ezra won’t find out that he is just as involved in criminal activity as the man Ezra is running from (or, at least, not before he can make Ezra fall in love with him too).
This man was the most precious person he’d ever met, and he’d bend over backwards to make him happy.
The reason I think I enjoyed this book the most was because Frank was just so in love with Ezra. He adored him in every single way, and he would have done anything for him. It was very swoony.
P.S. Jag was, once again, literally the cutest person ever and his little friendship with Ezra was super adorable.
Ezra and Frank are just made for each other.
This book was so romantic that I could not put it down. I had to finish it asap, though it is on the chunkier side.
I admit I only read [b:Scum|59584929|Scum (Wrong Side of the Tracks, #1)|K.A. Merikan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1636540570l/59584929._SY75_.jpg|93840619] so far and was a bit afraid the book would not make sense but it is really a complete standalone! (Though reading the rest would be even better, as I loved seeing Ros here).
I love the gentle giant but also his ice prince. I think that Ezra just made so much sense that even his prickliness was rewarding and seeing the romance bloom was absolutely worth it.
Most of the angst is outside the couple, though there are parts where even our men feel like they are just doomed. Though it does not last. What a lovely book I'll definitely be reading again in the future.
I am so happy that no third act break up happenned. Otherwise I'd flip tables lol.
