King Lear

My purpose in reading this is twofold:
1) it's one of the most quoted/used pieces for AP Literature
2) I want to do a reread and annotation of If We Were Villians, and this is the final play mentioned.
It was a good story. I'm just not the biggest fan of Shakespeare, but I do love updated retellings of these stories!

Muy interesante y dramático. No tan memorable el diálogo, pero con personajes curiosos. Mi favorito el bufón, la verdad.

Why should a dog, a horse, a rat have life,
And thou no breath at all? Thou’lt come no more,
Never, never, never, never, never!

My favorite part was when King Lear said "It's Learing Time" and sent his favorite daughter to the gallows. Amazing work, Billy Boy Wiggleshakerstick.
