Точно каквото очаквах от тази книга. Трилър с достатъчно обрати, че да ти задържи вниманието. И първа среща на Мики Холър и Хари Бош.
I enjoy Michael Connelly's writing! This was another great book with Haller and Bosch!
If you want a detailed plot summary with lots of spoilers see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Brass_Verdict. I enjoyed the story very much, lots of neat trial work. The plot was perhaps a bit contrived but no matter. I like Mickey Haller’s character. Harry Bosch also plays a role in the novel and it turns out he has more in common with Haller than one would have expected, both literally and figuratively.
I had no idea what a “brass verdict” but when googled in the urban dictionary it does make sense.

Another greal legal thriller. Mix Grisham with the humour of DeMille and you have the second in the Haller series.
From stuck-up rich boy to a new pile of cases, Michael Haller is up to his ears in legal work, even if he doesn't want it. Taking over a pile of work from a recently deceased lawyer friend, Haller gets himself in deep with the friend's headliner case, a Hollywood producer.
Sprinkle that with an ex-wife, tween daughter, and the recent release from rehab, as well as his string of other clients and Haller is working his magic, burning both ends of the candle.

The Brass Verdict is an excellent follow up to 'The Lincoln Lawyer'. The story is good - with excellent courtroom drama. Mickey Haller is turning out to be another favorite character of mine.
On top of it, Harry Bosch is present in this story too. W00t!

Mickey Haller is my favorite character in the Bosch connected universe. He may not always have the most ethical stance but you have to admire the way that he works his ass off for his clients. Fun read.
