Once I got into Pride and Prejudice, and once the language was less of a stumbling block for me, I really enjoyed the story.

The copy I'm reading right now is this awesome annotated copy of the book, with almost a full page of footnotes for each page of text. This may seem a tad gratuitous... but the footnotes which range from historical context to explanations of what exactly constitutes a gentleman make it worth it, seriously. My favourite are the literary analysis, especially the character analysis.

What can I say! It’s a classic!

I’m glad I can finally say I’ve read this. I started it back in high school but the old English just made it tough to read, but this time I listened to it. Making it feel like a whole new world!

Forever Mr. Darcy’s girl!🙌

After watching the BBC series like 3 times, I finally read the book. I really enjoyed it, and although it was kinda long it was an easy read for me. I like the characters, especially Mr. and Mrs. Bennett, Eliza, and Mr. Darcy of course. I'm a romance hater but this wasn't painful for me to read at all. The yearning was pretty good. Honestly I thought it was pretty funny at times and I enjoyed that. I also liked the details surrounding social status and societal rules, I'm into that for some reason.

I had more fun reading the instructions on my maths exam a few weeks ago.
