All bullies and abusers need to go to therapy to be better people. (I know they are fictional; I'm talking about their real-life counterparts)
For some reason, I was drawn to this book, maybe because I was curious about their lives, aka Asian guy who is lost and a girl who knew who she was.
I hate that uniqueness and self-expression were teased or bullied. (for example, how Eleanor dressed or Park's eyeliner)
I can only imagine domestic abuse. I always wonder why people can't get out of abusive people, but it's far beyond easy due to the manipulation, pain, and control over them by the abuser. It pains me that people experience these kinds of things.
Richie needs jail time!!!
My heart broke every time Eleanor and the kids had to live and their basic needs were deprived. It must be hard to raise five children with a minimum or below minimum wage; I get the perfume; it was a luxury, but toothpaste? Oh my god!
Honestly, I was worried in the last few pages that Eleanor and Park might not reconnect, but thank the heavens, they did.
I wanted to believe that the three words are I love you, I miss you. Haha!

Ok
Ok
Ok done
This book was such a rollercoaster
I really thought I am with them
Sitting In their room
Seeing how they fall for each other
How they want to save each other
How they only wanted each other
And how they couldn’t
This ending broke my heart a little bit
I mean she had to get away..HAD TO.
Richie creeped me out the whole time. It was like I was lying right next to Marsie and Eleanor, hoping he wouldn’t come in, hoping he would finally stop.
But this ending that came along with the runaway of Eleanor. That ending between them. I hope they will reach out to each other. Some day. Maybe he will go to college in Minnesota and they will meet again. “Don’t know how don’t know when, but I know well met again”
I don’t know. Reading how he missed her. Reading how he wrote her letters. How she didn’t respond. Reading how he did go to prom. With somebody else. Even kissing that somebody.
My heart
My heart.
But that post card
That little post card
Three words
It has to be the three worlds I’m thinking of
Because that would mean they could do it
They can do it
I believe it
Those three words
“I love you”
