I found this translated book while searching for a place to loaf around. In a quaint book café that boast of having 7000 books that you may rent or read there and then.
I guess it's like a historical manga, set in 1945. I get to see history from the Japanese point of view. In 1943, we were the one being attacked by them. In a way, war destroys both sides. It's nice to see in the olden days, people were as crazy as us in finding pleasure, not only in writing but cinematically as well. The dynamic in the family is a bit of a slap in the face where you're expected to forgive anything just because they're family. Like B99 once said "cool motive, still murder", I doubt I'd forgive anyone who'd rip my 40 pages comic into pieces. Sorry bub.

Penggambaran kisahnya sendiri cukup unik, karena sering diselingi ilustrasi peristiwa penting yang terjadi saat itu. Juga banyak istilah, konotasi dan cara pikir industri penerbitan manga yang terjelaskan di sini.
