On the cover, there's a warning: This Book Turns Into a Robot. It does not disappoint.

The happy ending is that everything turns into robots, including the book itself. A++. Good moral.

fter a little boy gets his wish and is transformed into a robot, he realizes that he prefers being a boy -- oh wait, EERRrrt, stop! What are you -- don't aim that Robo-Sauce Launcher at me! AAAAA! AAAAGGG---- .... ... beep boop beep beep THIS REVIEW HAS BEEN TERMINATED. BUY THE BOOK FOR ANYONE WHO APPRECIATES SUBVERSIVE HUMOR. END TRANS.

That was fun!

One of the most fun picture books I've read! So creative! The narrator talks to the main character, but when the boy takes his recipe for Robosauce and turns into a robot, he takes over the story and it transforms (with the help of a hidden fold out book jacket with directions for humans) into something completely different. Kids will have so much fun with this. Teachers will appreciate the metacognitive aspects. All will appreciate the sense of family and the ending.

Not bad, a little disappointing when compared to his Dragons love Tacos book. I like that the book transforms into a robo-book but doubt that the flap will stand up to multiple check outs.

Too weird for me. Boy invents robo-sauce to turn himself into a robot, then turns everything into robots.

Wowwww this book not only has funny stories around a boy turning himself into a robot and running amuck amidst flurescent cheeto-orange Robo-Sauce (which I LUV)... but it's also a very creative book-arts object in that the book transforms itself with directions towards the end. I won't spoil it but it's really coolioooo. Check it out! (Esp. if you know youngsters into robots, tech, or STEAM-like things without the didactic-ism)

This was such fun to read. I really liked it.

Pretty brilliant book, with a clever twist on the inside. Man, Adam Rubin really know his audience, and has a gift for humor.
