The third installment of the Thirst series. This novel only contains one story, The Eternal Dawn. Alisa is back; she’s spent years alone and is now craving company. She has hunted down a long lost relative of hers, Teri. But as she gets more involved with hanging out with her and her boyfriend Matt, people start to attack Alisa. She has a very big corporation IIC after her, who is related to the Array, which leads her to the Telar, who are a group of immortals who aren’t vampires. Alisa being the last vampire is a wanted person. Does she survive; you just have to read to find out. This novel goes through ups and downs, the plotline is done well, giving the reader crucial details to help them figure out what will happen, but still leaving a little bit of room for surprise. It’s definitely well crafted, and the characters are well developed. By the end the reader starts to feel sad for these characters. Overall, a great follow up, and can’t wait to see what’s in story for the next novel.

This was not my perfect cup of tea, but it did help me pass the time. I picked this up because it was deeply discounted from a local bookstore and enjoyed the story for what it was.

I enjoyed reading this book, but it was definitely not on my top rated list for YA books. The characters are pretty bland and all blended together. After reading the whole series, it was frustrating how many different antagonists there were, one after the other after the other. And even though Alisa is supposed to be this incredible, all-knowing vampire, she's oblivious to the antagonists every time. There's no red flags to point the reader in the right direction either. It's like, "Oh hey, here's a new enemy but he was your friend the entire time" and that just repeats over and over. Usually when I read stories I can reflect back and admit I was fooled too, or maybe I saw it coming, but in these books the enemies don't even make sense.

The end of the previous book makes it seem like this one should start with her as human but she is not. It is a bit confusing but the story ends up being very interesting. With unexpected characters and plotlines. I enjoyed it well enough, but it was left open ended. The sneak peek of No.4 you get just leaves you more confused. If you've read the previous books, you will enjoy this one as well, though it has some surprising twists and turns in it.
