What really ruined this read for me was almost every chapter and book ending on a "danger" or "cliffhanger". It does not need to do this. Let a person put down the book in peace.

I liked this book along with the others in the Shadow City series. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the manipulativeness of Levi. I found some 'scenes' quite frustrating (probably what Rosemary was feeling!). But still a great book and already onto the next one.
I have really enjoyed all the world building that has gone into each segment of all the series.
We are starting to connect the dots with all the underhand plotting that has been happening. I love that we are seeing more growth in Rosemary as she has always seemed cold and aloof, but we are seeing that internal struggle within her and in a way humanising her.

I've really enjoyed all of the books Jen has created in this world. This one is a solid 3. I agree with others Rosemary is one of my favorites, and if I could, I would rate her a 5 as a character. Book overall, I give a 3.
boy are we in for an emotional rollercoaster ride with Demon Marked. Rosemary, Levi and the rest are so amazing i cant wait for book 3
