This was 1 of my 12 reads recommended by friends for the year and I'm so glad it was, the audio was fantastic and it was spicy and sweet. I do wish the romance dragged out a bit, it just was really fast and rushed, I would have ran to give it 5 stars if the romance developed over a couple of years. Off to a great start in 2023!

This one surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. Most of this author's books don't particularly appeal to me, but this went on sale and newness bias dictated that I should start it immediately after purchasing.

If your looking for a heartfelt story, grab this one!

Deacon and Julian are grieving for Rhett, they haven’t really ever been friends or anything....... but it all might change with one touch ...... one look ..... one kiss......

One last thing, I can’t or would ever understand Elaine. She is one example of someone I don’t ever want to become.
