I’ve now read this play at least 3 times through, and will continue working with this text for a class I’m in. This is PERFECT for fans of Bunny by Mona Awaad. It’s loony, it’s explicit, it’s dark, all while subtly passing commentary on the world in which it was written. I wish I could see it performed as it was meant to be, but for now reading it will have to do :(

Sometimes I wonder about the genre of comedic satire and if it's really needed in the world since it's so often done so terribly harmfully... but this play did not make me wonder that!

Hmm, there is some interesting commentary about gender roles and gender-policing in this campy play from the mid-90s. Does it age well? Not exactly, though some of its depictions of office culture are not as hyperbolic as one would hope.
