I really loved this story and its complex characters, though I still had some questions at the end.

you know sometimes you read one of those books that are so good because they are so personal to you. I feel like this book resonates deep inside of me, I could have very well written something like this in an alternate universe (but alas! I am not that talented in this one). It is also very well drawn as a plus point.

While I don't think this read will be universally loved. It is a smart look at the growing up experience at the what if's presented by an elementary school girl and highlighted by the relationships that she shares with the women who become her friends.

Made me cry. I loved this so much! I almost didn’t want to finish reading it because i wanted to keep reading it if that makes sense.
