Honestly (and I hate myself a little for it) but this is the first book in a while that I’ve laid awake reading until 2 AM. This is filled with intrigue. Particularly the last parts…I need to see what happens next! I need more of Jem’s wholesome dad skills and Kit’s brotherly love. And I always need more Magnus Bane and Alec in my life.

Can't really write a review since I read most of these stories months ago (except the last two) and I'm sure there were stories that I loved a little less than other but, overall, this is probably my favourite set of short stories by Cassie (out of the three she's released so far) and I'm very happy with the book. I love Jem and this journey with him and many other new and old characters was everything I wanted from this book. Matthew's story, Celine's, Alex meeting Raphael... and the last one. Oh my god, it was amazing. And the last line was absolutely perfect.

"This evening the whole sky was bronze, as though to summon wicked powers."

I can't wait for The Wicked Powers!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved this book so much❤️ I really missed reading something by this author, it reminds me of when I first checked out her books last summer.
I can’t begin to explain how much I love this world and the characters in it! I’m excited to read Chain Of Gold soon, but I’m currently mentally preparing myself (if you know you know). I loved reading more about Jem although he is not my fav, but he’s still amazing!
