Fun mystery! Great on audio. I love her sense of humor! Fun that this takes place locally.

I didn’t like this one as much as the first in the series, as I felt like there was a bit too much going on at parts, and not enough at others. But I enjoyed listening to it, enjoyed the plot twist at the end, and am excited to continue with the series!

I remember liking the first book in the series well enough, but the bottom of a woman who keeps running into dead bodies by accident is hard to keep up. The book teases romance but doesn't really give in to it much, and the excuses for poor communication are just too frustrating. I wouldn't bother.

DID NOT FINISH: 30%

The narrator was annoying me. Couldn't finish.

I probably should have reread the first in the series, but this was still a very fun read despite how improbable it is. The characters are smart and it's actually one of the best books to represent the logistics of childcare, lol. I felt like there was a huge reveal that did not get addressed at the end so hoping that gets explored in the next book.
