I had never hard or seen this book before but I am so happy I picked it up! I loved the artwork, the characters, the plot, everything! Normally you dont see to much character growth in a graphic novel but here you did! I loved how they were shown to us! It was a great story and showed how you need to care for the precious things around you! Great read for kids! This is the kind of book they need to be reading!

Lighter, quicker read than Telgemeier or Jamieson -- and no girl or school drama -- just a nice read.

Bought this for my niece as a gift and read it to make sure it would be appropriate before giving it to her. Very cute graphic novel. It feels like a modern day Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys that takes place at the beach. Definitely appropriate for most ages. Ages 9-12 would probably enjoy it the most.
