Oh my GOSH ! I am wrecked I don't think I'll ever be the same until book 2 comes out. This dark why choose romance will have you on the edge of your seat. From wanting to throttle the MMCs and wanting to yell at everything that you learn.
Riley oh man this poor girl, she has gone THROUGH some sh!t, and it's heavy. She wants to get through college, and get a new lease on life, but can she? Grayson, her stepbrother, isn't going to make it easy for her to enjoy her time, and his two friends? Who knows what's going to happen with that. Logan is my favorite, he's a cute golden retriever and I really am curious as to what will happen in the next book. Royce, he is an interesting character, he really made me think there could be something to his broody bad boy-ness. Grayson, I wanna smack him around.
I will say the cliffhanger was definitely an emotional one, not shock and awe, but almost heart wrenching. I can't wait to see what happens between Riley and the guys. On some level all of them need to grovel a but, but Grayson the most, and like a month in the dog house.

When I first started reading this book, I was a bit surprised because, despite having dark undertones, it started out quite fluffy, especially compared to Rachel’s other work. But by the end, things went completely off the rails and I was hooked. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the whole book, but it just a completely different start than I was expecting.
This book has so many different aspects to it that I love- sports, stepbrother, why choose, bully, and much more (I don’t want to say too much and spoil anything)! It might seem like there almost too much going on but it all works somehow.
All of the MMC’s are those bad boys you love to hate and the FMC has so many secrets. But as they start to be uncovered, I’m sure we are going to see some major changes in her men! I can’t wait for book 2 to see how it all plays out!

That ending was exactly what I wanted. It’s not a cliffhanger, and it was so satisfying. With everything that happened and the accusations, the disbelief, the revenge, take that.
I don’t know what it is with this author, but I love the way she writes the FMC’s. They are always my favorite character. They are strong, despite all the they’ve been through, and they are very real with their emotions. They don’t let their past define them, they use it to become stronger. This FMC is no different.
There needs to be a lot of groveling in the next book. I need answers, revenge, and more groveling. I want to know more about the characters and see how everything will play out after the revelation. I feel like there’s more going on than what we’re being privy to. Something is up and I want to know what role everyone plays.

I don’t know what it is with this author, but I love the way she writes the FMC’s. They are always my favorite character. They are strong, despite all the they’ve been through, and they are very real with their emotions. They don’t let their past define them, they use it to become stronger. This FMC is no different.

I love dark romance. I love getting the ones where the story isn’t pretty, but overall it ends up being a beautiful mess. This was just a mess. How can one guy who’s in love with her still be ok with her staying under the roof of someone who hates her? And I get it. Your friend hates that person, so you have to too. You should probably do research and find out the details of such things though, so you both don’t look idiotic. Sometimes the fmc is strong, but then she’s liking the mmc who doesn’t even let her go. There’s also the fact on how these guys can have sex with everyone in the entire world and still find periods disgusting….”ewww” isn’t the response to seeing pads/tampons. Why is it gross? If you can have sex with so many women, you should AT LEAST know how to respect them in that instance. Although, I guess with how livid I am about this story, maybe the book deserves a five star. These guys aren’t MEN. They just know how to have sex, and they are attractive, but I couldn’t fathom how the fmc still found the “good” side to them after everything. I get not every mmc isn’t an angel but when talking about certain things, you can’t love the ones not believing you about that serious issue. I don’t even think I’m making sense because I’m too mad about this

Riley was incredible. She's so strong and a survivor. Living a quiet college life while busy with side work her life turns upside down after she met with 3 men.
The guys, Logan, Royce and Grayson were so different with each other yet they clicked very well. I love how different they were since I could differentiatee each of them. The author also introduce each of them in different time instead of all at once so I can understand each of their characters better.
There's so many unexpected events and layers. Since page 1, I keep scrolling to next page! Simply couldn’t put it down. I love the pacing of this story. I’m looking forward for the next book! Please come out quickly.
