Frozen Hearts is a book I know I will be thinking about the characters until at least the next book in the series comes out. The storyline had me in it's grips from the first couple of pages until the cliffhanger ending. Frozen Hearts was spicy, dark, twisted, angst-filled, heartbreaking and inspiring. I need more from these characters! Riley is a survivor but remains fiercely determined to put her past behind her as she starts Halston U, earning a full scholarship and plans to set herself up for a better life. I loved Riley and her feistiness. Logan is a lovable and charming Hockey captain, Royce is a brooding and angry fighter, and Grayson is trying to overcome a scandal that tore apart his family. I think this may be my favourite R. A. Smyth book yet! I am giving Frozen Hearts a rating of 5 / 5 Stars. I am officially counting down the days for book 2!!

She’s 20 and has just started at college. Multi POV. The guys are all seniors (a hockey player, an ex football player/now fighter, and the stepbrother). The beginning is very cute and fun and giggly just to get you all comfy. Then everything falls apart and starts hurting mainly because men (insert eyeroll here). Very much a : guys are being mean because of a certain reason (that they are completely wrong about) and you just know when they learn the truth it will hurt so good (as long as they grovel well). The cliffhanger isn’t the worst but it is going to make you want the 2nd book asap. CW listed at the beginning and this is dark so definitely take a look if you need to.
