This book is dark and delicious, let me tell you. It has hockey alpha-holes, secrets out the wazoo, a shmexy stepbrother, and a tr@umatized but strong FMC. It’s a why-choose dark romance with b/u/ll/y/ing aspects and isn’t for the faint of heart. If you’ve read other books by this author, this has similar vibes. I loooved it. Riley has gone through some ✨stuff✨ and then she’s put through even more.

The plot twists are out of this world! The spice is quite nice, and I’m loving the character developments (even the ones who haven’t shown much, you can get a sense of how amazing they could be once they grow). The side characters are intriguing and interesting and deserve their own stories someday

This is not a bad book per se but it really took time to catch my attention enough to finish this book. Kinda in the trenches with this one but eager enough to find out what happened on the next installments.

I read this in one sitting. It’s absolutely terrible but it’s like chips. Addicting, and once you start.. BAM the bag/book is finished. 

This is not a work of art. The prose are so purple Pantone should come out with a new color in dedication. It’s tedious and frustrating crack. I immediately went to the next book in this dumpster fire. 

It’s just as bad/compulsively readable
