Ok. I loved Angel and Mians story but it left me a hole in the middle of my heart. I wanted more for their ending. It just wasn’t enough for me. I’m a greedy B!?$& I want it all. Z and Lucas man oh man some serious hot vibes for those two. I hope that we can get both of their stories because I know they have a lot to say. If we do I hope that we get a snippet of Angel and Mian to appease my heart and her greediness.

What a book!!!!!

What a conclusion!!!!

Bebe has worked her magic yet again and delivered a book and series where we fall completely in love with the bad boys. Angel, Z and Lucas are sex in legs. They are fierce, they are protective and they can be downright terrifying but hell, are they good!!!

Bebe has smashed any all expectations I could ever have with this book, anything I thought would happen didn't and was left completely surprised.
My heart was in my throat and I had tears in my eyes while Bebe puts us through the emotional ringer with this conclusion.

I can't go into this book without fear of giving anything away but I will tell you this.

Read it! You will not be disappointed at all. I was ready to scream and curse Bebe to high heaven by the end of the book but I've also been left happy.

Bebe has delivered MORE. SO MUCH MORE .....

I worry when I read a duet and the first book is epic like The Bandit was that the second book can live upto the expectations that I have........well let me tell you The Knight took them and smashed them to smithereens, I thought this book was not only as good as The Bandit but maybe even better !!!!!!
But it's one of these books that's hard to write a review for in fear of spoilers so all I'm gonna say is if you loved or even liked The Bandit then this is a MUST read for you!!!

5 EPIC stars from me !!!!

This 2 book series deserves 5 stars!!

Absolutely loved it!!

Angel and Mian go way back..they met when Mian was just a little girl and Angel was given the task to protect her. Their fathers were best friends in the criminal world. There was an immediate strong pull between Mian and Angel from the moment they met, until it all came tumbling down.

Fast forward years and years of when Mian is 19.

At the young age of 19 Mian's life couldn't seem to get worse. Living in a crappy apt, no money, lost her job, and struggle to make ends meet while caring for her baby son. She is left with one choice, break into the house of the boy she grew up loving, who is now head of a criminal empire.

Angel is the head of his family..head of the criminal world..feared by all..he's the Bandit.
When he finds the girl he spent many years trying to resist breaking into his home what is he to do? Kidnap her and her baby.

I'm going to keep it simple to not give anything away but I absolutely loved this series! Talk about sexual tension, damn!

I need Z and Lucas's stories immediately!!! Why did I wait so long to read this?!?

This one was definitely way better than the first. I feel like I hold this author to a higher standard than most because of my love for her other books, the first was a miss for me, but this one definitely hit the mark.

DAMNNN
- Satisfying ending
- No slow parts
- More characters <3
- I hate the senator and both Adriens smh (I'm pretty sure that's their names I suck w/ names) I find it hilarious how she defended him and not three seconds later he used her as a shield, I'm deadddd
- I'm now invested in the spin-offs to come (Z's and Lucas')
- Suitable redemption ARC
- Love the names Angeles and Mian

Overall enjoyedddd. A fun, dark and twisted, but redeeming read.

Picking up pretty much where [b:The Bandit|24559719|The Bandit (The Stolen Duet #1)|B.B. Reid|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1462449172s/24559719.jpg|44163692] left off, THE KNIGHT was the thrilling conclusion to Angel and Mian's story. Or was it? Because my thoughts and emotions were all over the place while reading this, I'm finding it a little difficult to give a structured review. So here's a list of my thoughts, both positive and negative, in no particular order, and I wish you luck in understanding my meaning in the end.

♞ Mian was still a spoiled brat. She still lacked logic, reasoning and maturity, but somehow earned some of my respect. Go figure. I like people who don't know how to stay down when they get knocked down and she was definitely one of those people. I especially liked the way that Angel saw her, which was so different than the way I did.
♞ Angel was still my boo. I didn't like how soft he was when it came to Mian because in my opinion she didn't deserve so much of his mercy, but I guess I can't dictate how he expressed his love for her.
♞ I'm not sure if it's just my copy, but it felt like I was missing out on entire scenes. Characters were introduced and events occurred that didn't completely make sense and I got kind of lost. It was entertaining but I had a few "huh?" moments.
♞ Huge chunks of time passed with no real insight on what happened during that time. I'm talking like 3 years and then another year. I get the story has to end somewhere, and maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but the end didn't really feel like an ending. I felt that the characters, especially Angel, deserved more of a conclusion to his story. So much happened in this duet and I feel let down that the end was rushed and glossed over. I even understand that there's room for a spin-off or something but I don't think Angel got the happy ending I was hoping for and there were still so many unanswered questions.

Or... maybe I'm just selfish and wanted more time with the amazing character I fell in love with. See you later, Angel, my sweet! Yes, I'm a little obsessed with him and my fingers and toes are crossed hoping I'll see him again!!!

I ate this book up. I could not finish it fast enough. I had to know everything and reach the finish line. I loved this story, a lot. I can’t believe this is it. I want more!! B.B. Reid is torturing us.

“Someday, we would finally destroy each other.”

Mian continues on showing us how fearless she is. She has it in her like no one else. She was one of the few people who could stand up to Angel because one way or another, she knew that he would not be able to kill her. I loved how she tried to deal with everything around her and the pain. I wanted her so bad to let Angel in but I knew she needed the time. She was a great mother, an compassionate human in general and she deserved all the love and sacrifices.

“Fucking him or fighting him, it was always easy to forget that Angel and I weren’t the only two people in the world.”

I love Angel. If I had any doubts about this man in the previous book, they are gone now. No more doubts. This man has my approval. He more than proved his love even if it was somehow late. Knowing Angel’s character, I thought he would never do this. However, he took us all by surprise, even Mian. Angel commanded everyone around him with his presence and I liked that a lot. I could his power through the pages.

“When you fall, you want it to mean something. If you rise again, you want to know who you are.”

I need more of these characters. Especially Z and Lucas. These two have so much going on and I want more of it.

“There will never be anyone else I’d lose a war for, and if I had to, I’d fall again so you would rise.”

It was time for the Knight to play once and for all.

A great conclusion to the duet. Action, drama, steam, it had it all. I still didn't really understand the connection between Mian and Angel sometimes. Instead of love, it was more like I don't want anyone else to kill you, but I want to kill you thing most of the time. Pretty strange relationship, but it was entertaining nonetheless. Oh and that male narrator reaaaaallly gets into his sex scenes lol. I wanted to offer him a cold one every once in awhile lol.
