Couldn’t put it down  beautiful storytelling tissues at the ready.  Loved it

Slow plot. None of the characters are likable.

This book was a little too formulaic for my taste. The main characters for the most part were took predictable with their reactions. Not a bad book, but not a great one either.

Yaaaaa I hated this. The characters were insufferable, the plot was predictable and so drawn out, also key points just didn’t make sense to me? I didn’t understand the characters’ rationale for doing what they did/feeling the way they felt 75% of the time. Considered DNF but wanted to see it through out of loyalty to my girl Kristin Hannah but would never ever recommend this

I love Kristin Hannah, but knew going in that this wouldn't be my favorite. I've read most of her books at this point, and the earlier stuff just doesn't hold a candle to the more recent works. This honestly felt like I was reading a Lifetime movie - predictable, cliche, cheesy, and characters that were flat and uninteresting. It was an easy read that I started and finished on the same lazy day, but it is a book I will forget a couple of days from now and never return to. This was really more of a 2 for me, but I rounded up to 3 just out of respect for the author.

Cheesy and predictable. I skimmed a lot of it. But there were parts I really liked, so I stuck with it to the end.
I did like the line where Madeline says to her daughter, "There are always times in life when you don't fit in. But you have to go forward and make a place for yourself."

very average! but a good little easy romance

A little Hallmark-y

Good story, not my favorite, kind of predictable. Reminded me of Comfort & Joy - one of her earlier books.

3,5*
Apesar de me ter feito choramingar, não apreciei os personagens, irritaram-me solenemente, a maior parte do tempo.
E a mudança foi demasiado brusca, eu acho...
Lê-se rapidamente e é bastante emotivo.
