Such a bummer! I was on such a high with the last Kristin Hannah book I read, but I was pretty disappointed with this one. I just found it overly cheesy and a bit contrived at parts, not to mention I just couldn’t remain focused on the story overall.

I always enjoy KH books and this one is no exception. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I saw the plot twist coming from a mile away - it was never a shock to me.
