This story was trite and predictable, but I got invested enough that I cried in all of the places you would expect to cry and while this book definitely wasn’t the author’s best work, she is a good writer since I only bought this book after reading “The Great Alone.”

I wanted to like this book more…. It became very predictable and the characters in this book didn’t feel as well developed as some of her other books (I loved The Great Alone). It is a great beach read if you are looking for something easy!
