This was a really fun why choose romance. I adored their "meet cute." It was entertaining and really set the stage for the rest of the story. I also loved how Charlotte was able to make Matteo and Roman open their eyes and their hearts for one another. It was all just squishy love until Harrison walked in. That was the only part of the book I didn't like. I knew their secret would get out eventually because it's a romance book but the way he spoke about his own sister was not great and really demeaning. Overall this was a very entertaining book with of course a happily ever after for all four of these characters.
ARC REVIEW
This book was so much fun. I enjoyed every moment from beginning to end. It made me laugh, swoon, overheat and even shed a few tears.
There was so much chemistry between the characters and they all fit their group dynamic very well. The story begins with Charlie, the recently single, homeless and (soon to be) jobless FMC. She's down on her luck and runs to her brother's apartment thinking that his roommates are away at a hockey game. She plans on crashing in his old room since he has recently moved out. However, it seems that she got her dates mixed up and the 3 hockey players walk in on her in a...... compromising position. Needless to say, they were all shocked and I was laughing hysterically.
All 3 hockey players are taken with Charlie. Jace, the grumpy one, has known Charlie since they were teenagers. Mateo, the golden retriever, has no problem hiding what he wants when it comes to her. And Roman, the controlled cinnamon roll goalie, slowly begins to lose his control around her.
There's just one problem. She's off-limits as she's the captain's, and their best friend's, sister. Oh, and now she's their secret roommate. With the tension building and the forced proximity, all 3 men slowly lose their resolve around Charlie and begin breaking the rules they set in place. And the cherry on top? Mateo and Roman start to push the boundaries of their friendship.
I was honestly pleasantly surprised by this book. It had so many amazing moments that gave me all the feels. And the group chat banter was so entertaining, especially on Mateo's part. I don't think I will ever forget the escape room scene!
Finally, I will forever be a Mateo fan. I liked all the guys, but there's just something about Mateo that makes me want to hold him and never let go.

ARC REVIEW
My Brother’s teammates is a “Why Choose?” romance between Charlotte, Jace, Roman, & Mateo đź¤
After Charlotte learns that her two-year-long boyfriend has been cheating on her, he makes her move out of their apartment. Charlotte finds herself in a pickle and decides to move into her brother’s room at his old apartment for the weekend while him and his teammates/roommates were away for a game…
Little did she know… his roommates were returning that
This book was a fast-paced slow burn type of romance. I loved how it had an actual plot between Charlotte and the boys, keeping it a secret from Charlotte’s brother, Harrison, and not just the lust they have for each other.
I read this book in a day because I couldn’t put it down. I really enjoyed the relationship between Roman and Matteo 🥹 I wished they had more scenes together, they quickly became my favorite characters❤️
Thank You @Lovenotespr, @melissa_ivers_author and @queenoffirelas
This book slightly reminded me of Pucking Around, so if you enjoyed that book, you should give this one a try 🫶🏻

I love Melissa's hockey romances!! Honestly I havent read so many lately and I may have to be on the hunt to add some more to my TBR cause I am missing them. Also brother's best friend(s) are one of my favorite tropes, for awhile I read nothing but them. This story was so cute, I really loved the guys in this book, Jace, Mateo and Roman those smooth dirty talking boys made it to the book boyfriend list. I honestly can't wait to read what else Melissa has written and what else she may have in store in this universe, my fingers are crossed for a sister's best friend story.
Thank you to Love Notes PR for this ARC to read and review!
Charlotte is down on her luck and goes to stay with her brother and his roommates. However, it’s just his roommates and teammates but he doesn’t live there. Charlotte begs for a place to stay but for the guys not to tell her brother until she has a plan!
As they start to spend time together, there is definitely some tension! Mateo and Roman are best friends but begin to feel attraction for each other and Charlotte. Jace and Charlotte had a moment many years ago but now he can’t stand her. When they all start to become exclusive they have to decide what to do about their best friend and her brother!
