Wow…ummm there’s a lot to unpack here 😅😅
Charlotte and her older brothers THREE best friends/teammates? AND they’re all hot hockey players OBSESSED with her!? One of them is a secret crush from over 10 years ago and he’s felt the same way the whole time too? Okay say less.
Listen I usually take pride in knowing I can read spice in public and not even hate an eye…GIRL! Half this book had me blushing hardcore! Let’s just say the spice was spicing!
But that’s not all, it wasn’t just spice. There was tension and build up, secrets and break ups. It keeps you on the edge of your seat dang near the whole read!
I would’ve liked to see a little more character development than what was there. Maybe explore a bit more of the relationships individually but I truly enjoyed this one.

My Brothers Teammates is a hockey, why chose, RH, brothers best friends romance.
I absolutely loved this story and was so happy it just straight in. The story of Charlotte and the gorgeous hockey men is not only a great romance but the spice is also perfectly hot! 🥵
These men had a bit of everything that you could want in RH, Jace the moody one, Roman the quiet one and Mateo the flirty one. Each one of these gorgeous men was able to bring something different to the story and kept you wanting. Charlottes brother Harry was your typical brother overprotective brother who only had Charlottes best interests at heart but went the wrong way about it!
I really enjoyed Charlotte as a character, it’s always so nice seeing us curvy girls get representation in books and also get the hot men 🔥 I would love to know more about them all and it progresses after the story ends ….. maybe there can be move??? 🤔

A huge thank you to @melissa_ivers_author and @queenoffirelas for allowing me to read this ARC. I’m extremely grateful. 🥅⭐️🏒⭐️🏒⭐️🏒⭐️🏒⭐️🥅. I’ve read my fair share of Why Choose and Hockey romances and this book did not disappoint one bit. The spice and tension were well balanced. The witty quips and banter are top notch. It was hard for me not to highlight half the damn book with all my favorite quotes. The following pic are of my top three from the book. Charlie is a lucky girl to have a brother like Harrison to lookout for her. She’s even luckier that he has such good friends who look out for her every need 👀🥵. This is a wonderful take on MFMM dynamic and I adored the development of Mateo’s relationship of not only with Charlie but another character in the book who shall not be named for fear of spoilers. This book releases in three days and I high recommend picking up a copy if you love Why Choose and Hockey romance. Also, I’d love to see a sequel focused on Harrison, Charlie’s older brother. #hockeyromance #whychoose #readallthebooks #cinnamoroll #teddybear #grumpysunshine #brothersbestfriend
ARC review
😮💨 oh my.
I don't know what else to say other than that haha.
I really enjoyed this book. The spice was definitely spicing
and I couldn't get enough. I loved the gentleness but also the absolute lack there of. The story was great, and the spice was even better.
Loved the chemistry between our main characters and I loved how our FMCs story ended up.
I would love to see more of these characters

ARC Review.
Charlotte - cheated on & broken up with, forced to move out, fired from her job, crashes at her brother’s old place and flashes his three best friends and teammates, just wants to design and construct sexy lingerie for plus size babes like her
Jace – grumpitty grump grump, loves being in control, loyal
Mateo – flirt of the team, loves a threesome, caregiver, voyeur, director
Roman – levelheaded, peacekeeper but takes no shit, protective
The heat between them all was instantaneous! They’ve all known each other for years but with brother Harrison as a buffer, Charlotte, Jace, Mateo, and Roman have not allowed themselves to think of each other that way. The spice was spicing, I couldn’t wait to get to the next scene to see these 4 play with one another. We get a bi-awakening <3, Charlotte learns to ask for what she wants, someone finds their dominant side, love it all. The date night scene!
My biggest issue was with the major conflict. The way they tried to hide everything from Harrison, Charlotte’s brother and the team’s captain, didn’t work for me. There were 4 or 5 opportunities for them to come clean early on, instead they kept lying and the reasons why don’t hold up. Once everything was out in the open, we had the real conflict of everyone trying to maintain their friendships and romantic relationship. We needed to get to the meat of the story earlier.

Listen...if you don't know what you're in for by the dedication page alone, ooof. Ivers & McMaster know how to write some spice! Loved both the poly and male bi-awakening representations and some great positive sexual health & consent scenes too. The Spotify Playlist was fun to listen too while reading.
As far as the plot goes, it's cute but gets repetitive with four POVs and everyone thinking basically the same thing over and over again. Left me wanting more of the actual plot to be flushed out rather than four internal monologs of the same situation.
For those looking for:
_ Hockey Romance
- Why Choose
- Polyamory
- Bi - Awakening
- Forced Proximity
- So much spice 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

Oh my gosh this book!!!!
I wasn’t sure what I was walking into since this is my first read from this author but I really really enjoyed it!
The characters were so interesting and fun with really great backstories and their interactions were all absolutely top tier! I’m always down for a why choose but this one was just extra fun to me!
The spice was amazing (it’s hard not to be with these types of dynamics) and I thought the spice to plot was balanced really nicely!
Overall, super fun read and I’m excited to see what else comes from this author!
