I’m trying to get more in poetry and this was the right collection to pick 🥹 I thoroughly loved ‘The Orange’ of course and even the sadder poems too were a great read. I sped through it so fast (and then lent it to a friend), so once I get it back I’ll need to read them through again to start remembering 🥰

Wendy Cope, you have put together a great set of poems. 4.5 out of 5 stars for me, thank you ✨

"I love you. I'm glad I exist."

Nice little poems collection, some funny, some sad, some relatable, some less.

Some of the poems didn’t really appeal to me, but “The Orange” has a special place in my heart.

What lured me the most about The Orange was obviously the first poem that everyone has seen or heard or read themselves; the orange. It is a good book but some of the poems maybe due to high expectations felt so dull.
