pretty good set of short stories, some of them are a bit weird and have weird morals (ie. pro invasive species bc they are adaptable) also some aspects were kind of weird about Indigenous communities, specifically the Winter of Men story being set in colonial New France and sort of glamorized
Graphic: Transphobia, Sexism, and Body horror
Moderate: Dementia and Suicide

I’m not sure Winter Of Men really achieved what maybe it set out to, and it was a little long and a little confusingly written, but the other stories were all good, particularly Rock Jenny (shades of A. S. Byatt), Archipelagos, and title story A Natural History of Transition.
Moderate: Cancer, Pregnancy, Transphobia, and Dementia
Minor: Self harm, Suicide, and Domestic abuse
